The S2K Devotional is designed to help you lead discussions with the young men in your group or just with your own son. These devotions will help you teach Christ-centered manhood to your boys and are intended for frequent and consistent use at athletic team practices, Boy Scout meetings, after-school programs or any other group program for young men.
You are highly encouraged to personalize your devotion time with your group. Ad-lib, include your own stories, tell jokes, and get the boys involved by promoting lively discussion. Invite the Holy Spirit as you grow together in Christ. |

About the author:
Jeff has been coach, Scoutmaster, teacher, and counselor for numerous teenage boys and young men. Beginning shortly after his son, Brian’s, thirteenth birthday, he has also been leading and teaching in mentoring groups for young men. Brian is now eighteen years old, knows Jesus Christ as his Lord, is strong and courageous in his faith and his identity as a man, has a sound Christian world view and is prepared to pursue God’s calling for him in life. This is Jeff’s prayer for all young men.
Jeff has also taught various classes for parents of boys and has developed a strategy for equipping men to mentor their sons, fatherless boys and all young men. He also founded Squires2Knights Ministries, offering resources for Christ-centered mentorship by fathers, coaches, Scoutmasters and mentors of all kinds.
Jeff has been married to his wife, Lynn, for 24 years and has two teenage children, Brian and Kristen.
